The Candy Wrapper Museum

When it comes to Necco wafers, we haven't seen much variety over the years. There is the chocolate Necco wafer roll, which I haven't posted, but other than that, I haven't seen anything new until I stopped to eat a fiery burrito at the fabulous Del's Restaurant in Tucumcari, NM. This was in their candy display at the cash register.

The Smoothies are pretty tasty. The concept seems to be that the wafers are flavored like juice smoothies, with five fruity flavors. You can see their colors on the stripes on the right side of the wrapper. Don't know if these will catch on, but they were a great find.

By the way, if you happen to stop at Del's, be sure to check out the art in the men's room.
