Many (most?) Wonka candies began as candies made by Sunmark. You can see the slight "Wonka-ization" of Volcano Rocks in the two boxes below. The box on the left is the original 1976 Sunmark box. Above, you can see how the box evolved into a more whimsical Wonka look in the late 70s-early 80s.
